Peerless Premier kitchen stoves offer convenient electronic spark to light the burners automatically, and to ignite a gas pilot light in the oven only when the oven is used. Spark ignition uses only 2 watts of AC power. Any inverter will do it, or plain pilot light models are available. Or a match can light either one.

STABER CLOTHES WASHER 
Less Water, Less Soap, and Much Less Power
 

Electronic washer tumbles clothes horizontally but loads through the top. Simple design with under 200 watts running power, with a larger surge only to start the spin cycle. That means 165 watt-hours per load, much less than a regular washer uses. A 1500 watt inverter is required to initiate the spin cycle. It washes 16-18 pounds clothes with 1 to 1.5 ounces detergent and 15-21 gallons of water, less than half as much water per load as agitator type washers. Spins much faster than others, saving more energy in faster drying on line or dryer.  Saves most where used for many loads each week.

Stainless steel 6 sided drum spins in a stainless steel polygon tank to force water through clothes, like wankel engine, without any reciprocating parts in the machine. There is no clutch or transmission, just one belt from electronically controlled motor to drum.

Compared to the typical front loader, Staber has top loading convenience; it does not have a rubber gasket in the front that could leak water or grow mildew; it has immediate access to the tub while in the wash cycle; it uses dual re-greasable bearings on the front and rear of the tubs (as opposed to just the back); it uses stainless steel outer tubs (as opposed to plastic); it uses simple mechanical switches on the control panel (as opposed to expensive electronic controls); and it has total front access to parts.

All user serviceable parts with 25 year warranty on outer stainless tub, 5 year warranty on bearings and suspension, 1 year on other parts. We believe that Staber is the only horizontal axis washing machine manufacturer that honors its warranty even if it is powered alternatively with an inverter or generator!

STABER also offers this "matching" gas dryer. It is manufactured by Whirlpool and closely resembles the Staber washing machine. The washer has a textured ABS resin top assembly with side rails and the dryer has a flat polyester/enamel top finish. The washer has a curved front panel and the dryer has a straight front. The control panels are very similar.
