daily basis looking for a battery based backup system
with the ability to sell excess energy to the utility,
we offer the Schneider XW Power
System.
With the XW system,
Schneider has designed a system with an emphasis on
performance, ease of installation, and low maintenance.
In addition to being an excellent choice for any
off-grid application, the XW system operates similarly
to typical battery-less grid-tie solar systems but with
the added benefit of being able to provide uninterrupted
backup power during utility outages. With over 7 million
households losing power for more than an hour each year,
incorporating a back-up power system is common sense.
Utilizing batteries
as a back-up power source is much more reliable and
economical compared to fuel-powered generators.
Generators are mechanical devices which require regular
maintenance and are subject to failure when you need
them most, during an outage. Batteries have no moving
parts. Once installed and programmed, the XW system
operates silently and works automatically; there are no
switches to throw; buttons to push; or cords to connect.

The XW AGS is a Xanbus™-enabled
device that can automatically activate a generator to
provide an XW Series Inverter/Charger with power to
recharge depleted batteries or assist with heavy loads.
Compatible with popular generators, the XW AGS adds
intelligence to power management and eliminates time
spent monitoring batteries and inverter loads. The XW
AGS can be configured to start the generator in response
to low battery voltage, thermostat operation, or load
size on the inverter battery. A quiet-time setting
prevents the generator from starting at inconvenient
times. The LCD display shows the status of the XW AGS,
while all user-defined settings are programmed through

new OutBack Power Technologies Radian Series GS8048
Inverter/Charger provides a comprehensive answer for
grid interactive and stand-alone power systems. Based
upon a proven foundation of reliable technology but
engineered from the ground up to simplify the design,
distribution, installation and implementation of energy
storage, the standardized structure and integration with
the GS Load Center make it easy to provide a successful
solution to any power requirement, anywhere.
Incorporating a powerful DC to AC true sine-wave
inverter, battery charger and dual AC inputs, its
120/240V split-phase voltage provides a total power

POWERONE
STRING and MICROINVERTERS
The
Aurora PVI series are some of the most flexible string
inverters available. PVI inverters have two separate
MPPT inputs, allowing for two sub-arrays to be
configured with differing string lengths, orientations,
or even different PV modules. Conditions on one string
will not affect the other. Additionally, the PVI
inverters have two input terminals for each separate
MPPT section allowing as many as four strings of modules
(two on each MPPT) to be connected without separate
string fusing. Both MPPT inputs can also be paralleled
for use with a single array. A wide input voltage range
allows for low wattage installations with reduced string
sizes where needed. 3, 3.6, 4.2, 4.6, 5 and 6kW
Inverters are available (not all listed).
An integrated LCD displays real-time
operating parameters, and RS-485 and USB interfaces can
connect remote monitoring systems. An integrated DC
disconnect is standard on all “S” models (models without
a DC disconnect are available by special order). Aurora
PVI inverters can produce full-rated power at ambient
temperatures up to 122°F (50°C). The fan-less design and
NEMA 4X enclosure provide a water and airtight seal.
Output voltage can be set for 240 VAC splitphase, or 208
VAC or 277 VAC (480 VAC WYE) for 3-phase systems (3
inverters required for phase balancing). All PVI
inverters come with a 10-year warranty, which is
extendable to 15 or 20 years.
Aurora Micro 250 & 300
Most grid-connected solar energy
installations use a single centralized inverter to
convert
the
DC output from multiple solar modules into AC power. A
micro-inverter system mounts behind a solar panel and
converts the DC output of the solar module into
grid-compliant AC power. This simplifies the
installation, increases eff iciency, avoids high voltage
DC wiring and the requirements for conduit and DC
switch-gear. Micro-inverters also allow the home owner
to add to their system as budget allows, starting small
and growing the size of the system over time. PowerOne
offers higher wattage micro-inverters for use with
today’s higher output panels.

starting small and growing the size of the system over

your installation easy, just give us a call. The M215 utilizes
specific trunk cables with plug in connectors along the
length of the array. Depending on the wattage of your
module, you will want to choose the inverter that
maximizes the performance output to avoid clipping.
Warranty is 25 years.
The Envoy communications gateway collects performance
information for each solar
module in a user’s system and transmits data to the
Enlighten™ website, where users can view their solar
power system performance. The Envoy can be plugged into
a 120v AC outlet. Enphase Micro-inverters transmit data
over the existing power line, so no additional wiring is
required. Simply connect an Ethernet cable from the
Envoy into a broadband router. Monitoring is provided
free. The Enlighten website provides information on
solar system performance. A graphical representation of
the solar array provides information on the status of
each module.

SUNNY BOY ACCESSORIES
SUNNY BEAM: The new Sunny Beam features Bluetooth
wireless
technology for improved performance and versatility. It
communicates wirelessly with up to 12 Sunny Boy
inverters and graphically displays all the key
performance data of your solar system. It features fully
automatic system monitoring, including an audible alert
signal and it is powers by an integrated solar module
and rechargeable battery. It can simultaneously display
power output, daily energy production and the total
energy production of the system. Up to a hundred days of
system performance data can be recorded and stored, and
then simply transferred
to a PC via a USB interface. All HFUS inverters are set
up to communicate with the Sunny Beam. For all other SMA
inverters, order a Bluetooth Piggyback card for each
inverter to be monitored. Sunny Beam includes a standard
5-year warranty.
