XW AUTOMATIC GENERATOR START CONTROL

The XW AGS is a Xanbus™-enabled device that can automatically activate a generator to provide an XW Series Inverter/Charger with power to recharge depleted batteries or assist with heavy loads. Compatible with popular generators, the XW AGS adds intelligence to power management and eliminates time spent monitoring batteries and inverter loads. The XW AGS can be configured to start the generator in response to low battery voltage, thermostat operation, or load size on the inverter battery. A quiet-time setting prevents the generator from starting at inconvenient times. The LCD display shows the status of the XW AGS, while all user-defined settings are programmed through the XW System Control Panel.

The MS Series inverter/charger is a pure sine wave inverter designed specifically for the most demanding mobile and off-grid applications. The smaller MMS1012 (pictured on the right) that provides a cost effective solution for those with smaller power needs and mobile applications. The M4024-PAE and MS4048-PAE have 120/240VAC output, eliminating the need to stack two units or buy a transformer to run 240-volt loads. These units can also be wired in parallel. Mini-Sine ships for $35, larger inverters ship for $40.

Install the MS series in four easy steps: simply connect the inverter’s output to your distribution circuits or electrical panel, connect AC power from the utility or generator to the inverters easy-to-reach terminal block, connect the batteries, and switch on the power. The lightweight aluminum base and cover provide noise reduction and corrosion resistance. The MS Series has an RS-485 communication port for network connection and a remote control port. The extra large AC-access cover with terminal screw block and 360 degree DC connection terminals with covers make the inverter wiring accessible when it needs to be. It has an on/off switch with an easy to read LED indicator. All models have a 50 A transfer relay. MS inverters (without PAE) can be series stacked, using the ME-SSI (special order $57), for 120/240VAC operations, the PAE versions can be parallel stacked. Inverters are 13/75” x 12.65” x 8” and weigh between 43 and 58 pounds. 3-year warranty.

The ME-RC50 controller is required for inverter programming.

 

STACKABLE FOR HIGHER POWER. 12, 24, OR 48 VOLT BATTERY

VFX/FX Turbo are true sine wave inverter with battery charger and 60 amp automatic AC transfer relay. Output is 2000 to 3600 watts continuous. Surge of 70 amps AC for 1msec each (12V units have a peak output current 56 amps). These inverter can operate alone, or with up to eight together.  No-load power used is 3 watts when in automatic sleep-mode (on loads on); or 20 watts if programmed to keep AC on full time. Peak efficiency is greater than 90%. The FX series is completely sealed against dust and moisture, the die-cast aluminum housing protects and cools with the externally mounted fan for greater battery charging results. All inverters now come with Remote Temperature Sensors.

Battery charging current ranges from 35 amps to 125 amps depending on the model. Automatic programmable generator start is included.

Outback MATE is a programming input device as well as meter display, which can mount at the power room or remotely. It plugs into any VFX/FX inverter to program any of the adjustable settings for battery charging or start-up sensitivity, automatic start for an engine-generator, etc... The inverter can operate perfectly without the MATE after being set-up once, because your settings stay in memory even if all power is disconnected.

The same MATE also connects to the Outback FM60 or FM80 solar control as a remote meter and adjustment for the controller. 

To connect to more than one inverter or inverter and charge control at the same time requires the HUB-4 adapter. MATE includes RS232 port & DB9 for computer datalogging.

MORNINGSTAR SURE SINE 300 WATT 12V

True sine wave inverters provide clean, stable power for computers, radio equipment, home theater, stereo, marine equipment and other applications that are sensitive to AC voltage irregularity. These inverters do not include an automatic transfer switch and they absolutely cannot be connected to a 120V AC breaker box with a bonded neutral ground. The 1000, 12V auto-shuts down at 15.3 volts (30.6 for the 24V); which may complicate the equalizing process by a solar/hydro/wind source. The 1500, 12V auto-shuts down at 17.1 volts (34.2 for the 24V).
