TRUE SINE WAVE/MAGNASINE INVERTERS

The MS Series inverter./charger is a pure sine wave inverter designed specifically for the most demanding mobile and off-grid applications. The M4024-PAE and MS4048-PAE have 120/240VAC output, eliminating the need to stack two units or buy a transformer to run 240-volt loads. These units can also be wired in parallel. Inverters ship for $40.

Install the MS series in four easy steps: simply connect the inverter’s output to your distribution circuits or electrical panel, connect AC power from the utility or generator to the inverters easy-to-reach terminal block, connect the batteries, and switch on the power. The lightweight aluminum base and cover provide noise reduction and corrosion resistance. The MS Series has an RS-485 communication port for network connection and a remote control port. The extra large AC-access cover with terminal screw block and 360 degree DC connection terminals with covers make the inverter wiring accessible when it needs to be. VFX/FX Turbo are true sine wave inverter with battery charger and 60 amp automatic AC transfer relay. Output is 2000 to 3600 watts continuous. Surge of 70 amps AC for 1msec each (12V units have a peak output current 56 amps). OUTBACK MATE
 FOR OUTBACK VFX/FX INVERTERS & MX60 CONTROLLER

Outback MATE is a programming input device as well as meter display, which can mount at the power room or remotely. It plugs into the FX2000/2500 inverter to program any of the adjustable settings for battery charging or start-up sensitivity, automatic start for an engine-generator, etc... The inverter can operate perfectly without the MATE after being set-up once, because your settings stay in memory even if all power is disconnected.

The same MATE also connects to the Outback MX60 solar control as a remote meter and adjustment for the MX60.

ENPHASE 190 GRID-CONNECTED MICROINVERTER 

Most grid-connected solar energy
installations use a single centralized inverter to convert the DC output from multiple solar modules into AC power. The Enphase Energy micro-inverter system mounts behind the module and converts the DC output of the solar module into grid-compliant AC power. This simplifies the installation, increases efficiency, avoids high voltage DC wiring and the requirements for conduit and DC switchgear. The 240 volt AC output of the inverter is connected to a 240 volt 15 amp circuit breaker in your house load center through an AC installation kit (sold separately), and up to 15 more inverters can be plugged together to feed the same circuit. If you do not have an unused breaker in your house load center, you may need to have one installed. Warranty is 15 years.

One AC installation kit is required for each 15 inverters. The Multi-contact cables from each solar module simply plug into an Enphase inverter’s input cables. (The DC input wires are approximately six inches long and are terminated with single pole MC connectors.) Each Micro-inverter comes with one 4 pin bulkhead receptacle and one 70-inch AC wire harnesses with multi-pin connectors. The AC connectors are oppositely sexed, so that multiple inverters can be connected to form one continuous AC branch circuit. If any of the inverters are mounted more than 80 inches apart, use an extension cable to tie them together. The Enphase M190 Micro-inverters are designed to operate with most 60 and 72-cell PV module configurations, up to 240 watts. Be sure to verify the voltage and current specifications of your PV module match with those of the Micro-inverter. Inverter weighs 4.4 pounds and is 8” x 5 1/4” x 1 1/4” not including cables.

The Envoy communications gateway collects performance information for each solar module in a user’s system and transmits data to the Enlighten™ website, where users can view their solar power system performance. The Envoy can be plugged into a 120v AC outlet. Enphase Micro-inverters transmit data over the existing power line, so no additional wiring is required. Simply connect an Ethernet cable from the Envoy into a broadband router. It comes with a 90-day Enlighten subscription. Additional monitoring with the Enlighten program can be purchased at $2 per inverter for and additional year, or $9 per inverter for an additional 5 years. The Enlighten website provides information on solar system performance. A graphical representation of the solar array provides information on the status of each module.

SAMLEX SMALL DC-AC INVERTERS

True sine wave inverters provide clean, stable power for computers, radio equipment, home theater, stereo, marine equipment and other applications that are sensitive to AC voltage irregularity. These inverters do not include an automatic transfer switch and they absolutely cannot be connected to a 120V AC breaker box with a bonded neutral ground. The 1000, 12V auto-shuts down at 15.3 volts (30.6 for the 24V); which may complicate the equalizing process by a solar/hydro/wind source.
