MIDNITE E-PANELS

The Midnite Solar E-Panel is a quick and easy way to install most battery-based inverters. They come standard with the basic over-current protection and disconnects required to install your renewable energy systems. All units are ETL listed to UL and CSA standards for US and Canada. This does not include a Tri-Metric battery monitor.

E-PANELS FOR OUTBACK
Outback VFX, FX, & GVFX inverters mount on a hinged door to keep the footprint as small as possible. The door is hinged on the left allowing the charge controller to be mounted on the right of the inverter. The STS version leaves room for the Outback AC box with surge arrestor for grid-tie applications and the AL-PLUS had room to mount and
inverter and FM-60 or FM-80 on the door. Mounting brackets included. Main breakers, inverter cables, a 500A/50mV shunt
for battery monitoring, a 175A AC power distribution block,
a 50A AC-input disconnect for generator or utility, and a 50A
AC bypass switch are included and pre-wired. Cutouts for
mounting up to 6 additional 13mm-wide DIN rail breakers are provided, as are cut-outs for GFCI-style AC outlets, and 3-panel mount DC breaker slots. Right hand door models are available.

E-PANELS FOR SCHNEIDER XW
The XW inverter is mounted directly above the E-panel and comes with a 250A inverter/battery breaker, AC inputs for generator & utility, knockouts for up to 7 DIN rail breakers and 12 panel mount breakers as well as a 500A shunt. Charge controllers mount to either side or both sides at once for dual controller systems. Additional busbars for AC inputs,
AC output, neutral, ground, PV+ in, PV- in, Bat +, and Bat-,
covered by a metal deadfront.

Other models are available for Outback, Xantrex/Schneider, Samlex SL, Magnum, and Apollo TSW Inverters

MAGNUM MINI PANEL SYSTEMS

The Mini Magnum Panel is an inclusive, easy-to-install panel designed to work with one Magnum MS-PAE, MS, or RD or other non-Magnum inverter/charger. It comes pre-wired for fast installation with easy access front-mounted breakers and a knockout for the digital remote display. It can be wired for 120VAC or 120/240VAC output. The unit is compatible with either din rail or back-mount DC breakers.
Includes:
One DC 175A or 250A breaker,
One AC bypass breaker 30A dual pole or 60A single pole,
One AC input breaker 30A dual pole or 60A single pole,
One 500A/50mv DC shunt,
DC buss bars for battery positive and negative and

MAGNUM PANEL SYSTEMS

Designed for multiple inverter applications, the Magnum Panel (MP) enclosures are a new line of Panel Systems from Magnum Energy. Each of the inverter’s required AC and DC disconnects and wire connection points are all together, and integrated in self-contained MMP enclosures.
The MP (Magnum Panel) enclosures have been specifically designed to combine
all of the major components required for a high power renewable energy system —
inverter/battery disconnect, AC overcurrent protection, grounding connections, and a full
system inverter bypass switch as a convenient way to isolate the inverters for battery
maintenance — into easy to install pre-wired enclosures.
The MP Series enclosures feature convenient front panel operation, and with the Router (ME-RTR, $320), will allow you to easily set up, monitor, and operate up to four MS-PAE inverter/chargers together (must be identical models to parallel stack). In addition to saving time and money by providing a simple and convenient inverter installation, the MP enclosures ensure safety and reliability by providing a UL and CSA certified and code compliant system.

The OUTBACK FLEXWARE 500 POWER SYSTEM, shown below, is factory assembled, ready to use. Backwoods Solar has created a custom version which includes many options that we believe are essential. These features are typically not included in the base model that Outback offers. Well sized for most solar electric homes.  A good value when compared to separate components plus their installation labor. Includes one or two inverters, a 60 amp charge control, plus AC and DC power centers. Connects to batteries, solar array, back-up generator and home circuits. 

The components listed below are included in the Outback Flexware 500 power system.

OUTBACK INVERTERS will offer from 2,000 to 3,600 watts of true sine wave AC power output. Two inverters can be selected for 4,000 to 7,200 watts AC output. If starting with a single inverter, you may add a second inverter with recommended X240 transformer later. These inverters are available either fan-cooled for higher power or totally sealed to eliminate dirt and salt air corrosion. Battery charger, inverter/generator transfer switching, and automatic generator start is included.

The MATE  and HUB adapter is an included Outback system control that programs and meters the charge control and all inverters.

The TriMetric battery meter (not pictured) is also included. Both the Mate and TriMetric can be installed remotely from the power system for easy access.

Midnite DC Lightning Arrestor

The Flexware 500 DC breaker box accepts PV, battery, and DC load inputs. 
The PS2 AC power center accepts generator input and delivers inverter output through several circuit breakers.
Battery Cables are 10 feet in length and sized according to your inverter.
X240 Transformer is included on two inverter systems to give full power on both 120 and 240 volt applications. Recommended with second inverter if upgrading from single inverter power system.

SECOND: Add your choice of charge controller, which will come pre-installed with correct breaker and mounting plate.

FM60 or FM80 SOLAR CHARGE CONTROL handles 60 or 80  amps maximum output to the battery at 12, 24, or 48 volts with current boost by maximum power point tracking. The MPPT Charge Controller can convert any higher voltage solar arrays to charge any 12, 24, or 48 volt battery bank- making possible longer distances from solar array to battery room using smaller wire sizes. Check the module and controller specifications for proper sizing
