An AC trunk cable delivers power from the Aurora microinverters to the utility breaker panel. Connection ports are spaced along the cable as connection points for each microinverter. Order the cable based on the total number of ports needed; used and unused. The cable is cut to the appropriate length and shipped. Unused ports must be covered with a weathertight Connection Plug(do not use the simple plastic cover that comes with the cable), the unused end of the cable is terminated with a single Cable Terminator. Order both items separately.
This cable is available in different lengths. Select the cable depending on the PV module size(s) and orientation. Cost is based on total number of ports needed, used or un-used.
The I-PO-TRUNK-50-P features up to 50 port connection points, spaced at lengths appropriate for larger panels in protrait orientation. Note: Maximum branch length for Aurora microinverters is 30 units.
Priced on a per port basis.
*** Backwoods recommends that Aurora inverters and products only be purchased for installation by a certified electrician. While operational tech support is available to any user/operator, parent company ABB and Aurora limit in-field tech support for hardware changes/upgrades only to installations that are supported by a certified electrician that is on site. ***
